Exfoliate one week before the treatment to get rid of any dead skin cells on the body
Thoroughly shower immediately before the treatment since you cannot do so again for 24 hours following
Fully Moisturize skin
Shave or wax area but avoid laser treatment
No tanning whatsoever (you may be tan for the Inkless method)
No alcohol, blood thinners,

No caffeine on the day of the appointment
Wear loose clothes on the day of the appointment the area will be slightly tender (avoid denim on the treated area)
Make sure to eat before the appointment and to drink lots of water
Taking collagen supplements is recommended

It is completely normal for the treated area to be red and inflamed immediately following the procedure. This will likely continue for 3- 5 days.
The treated area will go through a red or dark healing phase where it may appear to be darker than usual. This is totally normal and should clear within approximately 10 days

Do use unscented soap like Aveeno unscented body wash for sensitive skin
Do avoid hot water, use warm water for the first few days
Do apply the NY Derm Renew Aftercare Serum at least 2x a day
Do not use washcloths or loofah until the area is completely healed
Do not scratch or pick at the treated area even though it may be itchy
Do not work out or do activities that cause excessive sweating for the first 3 days
Do not get in hot tubs. Swimming pools or bathtubs for the first 10 days
Do not expose the treated area to direct sunlight for the first 10 days
Do not exfoliate, wax, shave or laser treat the area for the first 14 days
Do not use topical substances containing vitamin D for the first 30 days
Do consult your physician if redness and swelling persist for longer than 5 days
